Launching our Initiative

ScreenChoice is a program designed to combat excessive screen time and potential addiction in children, teens, adults by empowering them to become peer mentors. We train children who struggle with screen use to develop healthy habits and emotional intelligence. These "ScreenChoice Leaders" will guide their peers, in schools or via telephone fostering a sense of community and responsibility in a familiar digital environment. Hopefully we can create walk-in centers in our communities where people can come in for immediate help and guidance - to receive solutions, programs and motivation to lead a technologically sober lifestyle. We want to create weekly support group meetings for parents who are struggling with tackling their own or their children’s internet addictions. We want to create programs, group activities and an alternative lifestyle for our young people to integrate properly into their lives focusing on connection with themselves, their family and friends, their surroundings and HaShem.
